Connecting to Clarity for Peace of Mind

Connecting to clarity is great for peace of mind. Peace of mind is a feeling of calm, or not being worried. “Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organise your life around it.” Brian Tracy, Canadian -American motivational speaker and author.

There are so many ways to connect. I’ve looked at these five ways to connect that resonate with me from a creative slant, a work life slant and now I’m going to approach them as they relate to peace of mind:

  • Conception
  • Care
  • Culture
  • Calm
  • Clarity
Care is the core of connecting

For me these ways to connect all have impacts on my peace of mind:

Conception

Conception represents the beginning. Conception requires nurturing. From little things big things grow. The potential of conception is so appealing.  My mind thrives on this potential. Exploring options and developing ideas.

Care

For me care is the core of love. Care is how I share love and connect with others. Care can show up in so many ways – cooking, catching up, sharing stories and information, or as I discovered when my child recently left home – letting go.

Culture is your fundamental beliefs.

Culture

Culture is our essence. It is our fundamental beliefs. At times they are obvious to us. At other times they are just out of sight. When we see or experience things that relate to our culture they resonate. This is another form of connecting.

Calm is about accepting what is

Calm

Calm is a glorious feeling. It brings such a strong sense of peace. It engulfs me with a warmth and serenity. Connecting to calm gives me a sense that everything’s going to be alright.

Clarity is about connecting with a clear way forward

Clarity

Clarity is a sense of focussed intent. For me it often comes from having assessed multiple avenues or approaches. At times it shows itself as the ‘ah ha’ moment. Either way to gives me a clear direction.
