Creativity is great for work-life balance. Creativity is a way to shift your mindset, delve into development and create something beautiful. For all of us this journey takes a different course. Your creative approach, or creative type, is one element that shapes your creative journey.

You might be –

An Artist – driven by the desire to express yourself and transform the world around you.

A Thinker – experiencing the world as an endless opportunity for learning and discovery.

An Adventurer – fueled on a creative quest by endless curiosity and boundless enthusiasm.

A Maker – obtaining great pleasure by applying your brain power to completing projects.

A Producer –implementing ideas and finds joy in the ups and downs of the creative process.

A Dreamer – loving roaming around your thoughts, emotions and fantasies for hours. Literary master.

An Innovator – thriving on rapid change, with an insatiable desire to explore unchartered waters.

A Visionary – seeing the spark of potential in everyone & everything. Guides with conviction.

Creative Type Quizzes

Here are two quizzes to assess your creative type. Now you can see if your gut feeling is reflected in what the quiz assigns to you. Both these quizzes have no requirement for your personal information.  The first one comes with an array of images as a bonus while you answer the questions. Adobe Create has a quiz that breaks who you are relating to creativity into 8 types; The Artist, the Thinker, the Adventurer, the Maker, the Producer, the Dreamer, the Innovator and the Visionary.

I am a Producer – people-oriented, and analytical with a highly creative nature and a ‘get it done’ attitude. I see the value when ideas turn into something people can benefit from.

This analysis resonates deeply with me and I don’t think those around me would be too surprised either.

I am an Artisan – where I see creativity as its own reward. I love what I do and am grateful that I get to do it. At times I can become so immersed in it I can forget about my loved ones. As I am dedicated and share the credit I am a great collaborator.

Well I’m pleased with those results. I can certainly relate to them.

The results come with some things to remember…

I can end up down a creative rabbit hole if I get too stuck on the creative elements. As I am driven by deadlines when I don’t have real ones I need to create my own.

This again resonates. Very true in my world. I know deadlines are definitely a driver for me and was realising the other day a few self-imposed deadlines would be very beneficial.
